Welcome Get Shot By Tate!
Since you MUST know about me...... I'll talk about what kind of photographer I am. I'm the kid who hated traditional crap. I hated the concept of doing wedding photography. I wanted to do high fashion and naked people - and that WAS IT. Fast Forward to ten + years later....... I'm doing weddings, naked people (but it's always tasteful..... or at least I think it is) and I do SOME traditional stuff. I like to think my traditional stuff is twisted. Ok, it's not traditional. Call it what you want to call it, but I don't like the WORD - traditional. My wife does. She's twisted traditional. My work is my work. I don't like rules. It's hard for me to play by the rules when I'm doing photography. I think that's what keeps it so fun for me. I tell the parents of my senior shoots that I dislike cap and gown shots (was I supposed to do that?) but I still do them because I know they love those. ;-) I think you get the drift of what kind of photographer I am. I may think I'm way more radical than I am, but let me think I'm just ubercool and not traditional. Okay?

Here are the photos I just finished of the cool set of twin brothers, Dane & Dexter!

I had a great time with them and they were nothing but EASY to shoot. Tons of fun and laid back!

Here are some of my favorites beginning with Dane and ending with Dexter - with some of them together here and there. Enjoy!

I had so much fun shooting Raegan Sheets in downtown D'ville for her senior session. I couldn't believe it was the same girl who I remember Trish was pregnant for 17 (?) years ago?!?!? Time definitely FLIES by so fast.

She was fun, full of personality, and the weather was fantastic.

Here are some of my favorites from our shoot. (FYI - St. Amant's mascot is the gator so notice hints of gators here and there in these photos...... and another FYI - I WAS the high school mascot my jr/sr years at STAH! ALLY, the Gator!)

Raegan actually brought this frame. It was her great grandma's I think? Correct me if I'm wrong! I love it when props are brought for shoots - it gives me a sense of who the subject is especially for senior sessions.

This is a cool story.

Me and Kelsey's mom - Kristina, somehow became acquainted on Twitter through some #FollowFriday Louisiana thing - and she discovered my work just in time for me to do her daughter's senior portraits!

Boy, am I glad! Kelsey was tons of fun and game for anything.

These are some of my faves of her.
