Welcome Get Shot By Tate!
I am so fortunate to have a job I absolutely love. The world is a mega-huge one, and I have assigned myself the best job in the world which is to shoot photos, share them with you, and repeat the same steps over and over for y'all to enjoy. Anyone who knows me well knows I'm an OPEN BOOK, but when I have that camera in front of my eye - I see everything in a very tiny window. When I determine what I captured is eye candy ready to share, that is when I really OPEN up to you as a photographer/friend. Thank you so much for your support in any way its given!

I have seen Dylan grow up from a lil kid to a senior in high school. It's crazy because it reminds me that I'm actually in my 30's! (If I remember correctly, I gave him and his older brother, Evan, swimming lessons!)

Thank you to Dylan and Mrs. Gail for coming out for a fun photo session with me for such a special milestone.

Mrs. Gail:

Thanks for letting us lug you around LSU Tate! We had a blast! And yes, you did teach Evan & Dylan how to swim at your mom's pool. And when did I first meet you? You were a silly freshman at St. Amant High! "I knew you when" and now you're a mega photographer with awesome talent!! My fav is the stadium shot too because it suits Dylan to a T. Our family loves you, your beautiful wife and your sweet parents!

I had the pleasure of shooting Taylor's senior portraits a few weeks ago, and I really love how they came out! The weather was definitely gloomy and I gave them the option of rescheduling, but Taylor and his mom, Donna, were like "Let's do this!" (which is my favorite kind of attitude)

Check out how amazing they came out. I loved the fact they thought to do some with his kayak in a pond - I think it's one of my favorite guy senior portraits done to date.

Mrs. TTP:

oh my, i LOVE the fresh look of senior pixs you do- that style- so un-traditional, YET has a touch of senior-tradition to it!!!!!! handsome young boy and such creative pixs!!!!!!!

(02.25.10)
Cammy:

Love the kayak picture also!
My fave is him holding his tennis racket on his shoulder. Nice!

(02.25.10)
Ashley :

LOVE these pics! Great work Tate, and I'm sure it helped that you had a good looking guy to shoot. It's hard to pick a fav. They're all beautiful!

(02.25.10)
Arlene:

These pic's are so great, Taylor is a very handsome young man. I know his parents are gonna have a hard time choosing their favorites.
I agree with Mrs TTP, your style is so different very oringal. I know from our experience everyone that has seen Megan's pic's have been owhhhhing and ahhhing over them and they are all asking who did her pictures.
I see Tate becoming very busy in the future working on Sr. pic's
Keep up the excellent work

Rob:

I really love how senior portraits are being done today. They're so much more snazzy and fun than the lame "sit-on-this-stool-with-a-steel-rod-up-your-ass" photos of yore. Good job, Tate and best of luck, Taylor!

(02.26.10)
Rob:

BTW, Tate, do you encourage your clients to bring clothes or personal items that have color? It's quite clear that you're able to make those pieces pop out. The green shirt, the moss kayak, and the red tennis rackets almost seem as if they're well-thought-out theatrical props or even fashion accessories!

Meet Ashley who lives in Clinton, MS - a good friend of mine, Amanda Parker - referred her to me and sure enough - before I knew it, I was there shooting a set of senior portraits (among some other sessions). We had so much fun shooting these (Ashley and another senior, Morgan (her set is coming next for you to check out!) around Clinton!
