Welcome Get Shot By Tate!
Since you MUST know about me...... I'll talk about what kind of photographer I am. I'm the kid who hated traditional crap. I hated the concept of doing wedding photography. I wanted to do high fashion and naked people - and that WAS IT. Fast Forward to ten + years later....... I'm doing weddings, naked people (but it's always tasteful..... or at least I think it is) and I do SOME traditional stuff. I like to think my traditional stuff is twisted. Ok, it's not traditional. Call it what you want to call it, but I don't like the WORD - traditional. My wife does. She's twisted traditional. My work is my work. I don't like rules. It's hard for me to play by the rules when I'm doing photography. I think that's what keeps it so fun for me. I tell the parents of my senior shoots that I dislike cap and gown shots (was I supposed to do that?) but I still do them because I know they love those. ;-) I think you get the drift of what kind of photographer I am. I may think I'm way more radical than I am, but let me think I'm just ubercool and not traditional. Okay?

Ava & Kane

Here are two completely separate sessions I shot in the last two weeks. I want you to meet two "to cool for school" kiddos - AVA and KANE! Their mom's are Nikki and Raymee (both wonderful ladies).

I am completely in over my head right now with editing/shoots/and so forth and have been getting emails/questions "when are my photos going to be ready? what's the status?" and so forth. I really appreciate all the patience going on around - I know some of you may feel like you're "bothering" me but I am NOT at all bothered. I love keeping in touch and letting you know where I'm at now because being a "solo worker" - it's hard to manage it all at once, and of course my main goal is to please the client when they get there photos. So AGAIN - thank you at the bottom of my heart for giving me all this business to all of y'all AND of course for being so patient.

Having said that, I'm trying to post up "previews" for everyone so I do a quick edit for recent sessions so they can at least "see" some. I do my best to do that.

Anyway - here's the fabulous Ava!

The Raushes : Summer 2009

Here's a preview of what I just finished! The wonderful Raush family who I shoot numerous times a year! I love having clients who use me throughout the year (of course, because of the money  but also because I get to SEE the kids really grow up!).

Great pics. Beautiful girls, gorgeous wife, and... I didn't realize what a hunk Anthony is... and he has a nice smile also. Boy, to have a physique like that once in a lifetime. Didn't happen for me. I'm shorter. :-)

Valencia Sessions

Your photos are all DONE and the CDs are being mailed out today so keep an eye out for them. I didn't have time to post photos from each one but picked one from each for you guys to have another preview while waiting for the CDs to arrive!

Hi Sarah! I'm sorry we didn't get to meet you when you guys came out for Shoshanna's birthday...
The "Valencia shoot"was 5 different groups...
Kris and Rich Hall is the large group up top...
Then there was a young (very attractive) couple, then my family beaneath them (That's my daughter Skyler, the pissy 3 year old) and I.
Then below us is the Moses'
And I'm not sure who the last fam is, but aren't they a great looking family?!

Hope to meet you when you guys head back out to CA again! Your husband is insanely talented...But you already know that.
