Today one of my oldest friends, Miquel, will marry Chris in Ville Platte, Louisiana. We’re looking forward to witnessing her happiness (and of course shooting the day).

Here’s the second Layne’s ad featuring my photograph of Johnny & Paula Berthelot!
Jessica and Blair got in touch with me to do some portraits of them as a couple. We met up at The Cabin (Yummy food, just saying….) and did some great shooting. I loved the fact that Jessica wore this bright red dress in contrast to his army uniform! So American of them
Here are some of my favorites from their session from a few weeks ago!
Thanks y’all!
I shot various couples last Friday for Layne’s Jewelry & Design‘s latest campaign. I collaborated with a wonderful marketing company, Mindworx. I look forward to doing more work for them – we had such great chemistry!
Here is the first one that will start to run starting Feb 1st in the Advocate Ascension Section (Thursdays) & the Gonzales Weekly. The models were actual customers – David & Jessica Miller who were a sweet couple to photograph.
Cecelia & Shane are good friends of Jeff and Marcy’s (The recent wedding I just posted, the Koops). The bride and groom wanted to treat CeCe & Shane to a photo shoot with me since CeCe was a huge support for Marcy while Jeff was deployed. I just love it when people “gift” TTP sessions!!! It’s so fun, and people who normally wouldn’t pay for an impromptu fun session “just because” – get fantastic photos for their keepsakes.
These were a few of my faves of the couple, who I just enjoyed shooting – they’re such a sweet couple and you could just tell they’re madly in love with one another!
Mandaree and Steve got hitched in Alaska last December where their families are closer to. They wanted to get some better wedding portraits done so hence the collaboration with them a few months later around downtown Donaldsonville this past May. Donaldsonville is a tiny bit different from ALASKA isn’t it? Haha!
We got so many great shots and I just loved shooting them. They have such gorgeous chemistry and were so comfortable with one another.
FYI – my mom made Mandaree’s shrug! I think she did fabulous!
Check them out!!!
Here’s a random one I loved of Sarah helping M & S out with a “look” – I’m so fortunate I have such a great partner in life who helps me out in her free time when I’m sure at times she’d much rather “chill out at home” on her weekends!
Leave some comment love for Mandaree and Steven!
I’m off to Miami tomorrow for the Lissie & Tim wedding festivities! They get hitched in the Miami area on Saturday and I’m looking so forward to it! Tim is from Louisiana himself so I’ll be seeing a few “home” faces there too as well. I did an engagement shoot for them last year and Lissie just gave me a copy to have for my folio – check out how awesome it came out!
I’m also really excited because they got me a nonstop flight from New Orleans to their airport both ways! OMG. So awesome. It’ll be like sitting down, but then by the time I buckle my airbelt – it’ll be time to get up and get off. Rock and Roll.
Here’s a teaser shot from the Rhode Island wedding I shot last weekend for Nat & Ally! We had so much fun and like I said on my fan page via Facebook – I love bride & groom (and wedding party peeps) clients who have a sense of humor. We got this amazing shot of them looking like a cult. I told them it reminded me of a scene right out of True Blood (and omg, it comes back for its third season THIS Sunday!!!!!!!!!).
Ok! I best be getting to bed! Nighty, my friends!
I finally completed my Austin gigs! Miquel and I drove 8 hours out there to do Brooke’s bridal portraits and figured we’d make a fun weekend out of it, as well as do some other gigs! Thank you to everyone who had me do a session – Austin is quickly becoming one of my most favorite cities to visit. #1 – so many close friends moved there/are moving there #2 huh? The city is ridiculously rad. #3 Hello? It’s full of weirdos like myself! #4 Uncommon Objects has a home on South Congress – and I am serious when I say, I don’t mind having my funeral held there.
Here are some of my favorites from each session I did while in Austin! FYI – If your CD hasn’t arrived yet, it went out today… and the rest go out tomorrow morning!
Of course I can’t show any of the photos of Brooke in her wedding dress!
Gotta wait till after her Vegas wedding! Thank you to Miquel for doing the wonderful hair, and Kristen for assisting Brooke with the dress movement. LOL.
Thank you New York for being such an amazing city. The clients, of course, for giving me the business and reason to come up!
Of course, time is limited these days for I – but I just couldn’t not post some photos from my clients sessions in NY! Here’s one from each and they’re some of my favorites from each bunch. Thank you again for the business everyone!
and…. a very, very special thank you goes out to Christine S. Kim for letting me crash at her pad! I always love being around her. She is a creative soul, and just inspires me! She’s a true New York City chick.

and, and another thanks to the Musanos for a “home cooked dinner before a flight back home” and ALSO a drop off at JFK!!!! Millions of thanks! It was so so nice meeting their twins – nothing but adorable!
and here’s some vintage TTP for you! These are the engagement photos I did of them in Central Park in 2005! I also did their wedding that summer….. Time flies!
Again Thank you New York!!!
