Welcome Get Shot By Tate!
I am so fortunate to have a job I absolutely love. The world is a mega-huge one, and I have assigned myself the best job in the world which is to shoot photos, share them with you, and repeat the same steps over and over for y'all to enjoy. Anyone who knows me well knows I'm an OPEN BOOK, but when I have that camera in front of my eye - I see everything in a very tiny window. When I determine what I captured is eye candy ready to share, that is when I really OPEN up to you as a photographer/friend. Thank you so much for your support in any way its given!

I had the pleasure of shooting Taylor's senior portraits a few weeks ago, and I really love how they came out! The weather was definitely gloomy and I gave them the option of rescheduling, but Taylor and his mom, Donna, were like "Let's do this!" (which is my favorite kind of attitude)

Check out how amazing they came out. I loved the fact they thought to do some with his kayak in a pond - I think it's one of my favorite guy senior portraits done to date.

Mrs. TTP:

oh my, i LOVE the fresh look of senior pixs you do- that style- so un-traditional, YET has a touch of senior-tradition to it!!!!!! handsome young boy and such creative pixs!!!!!!!

(02.25.10)
Cammy:

Love the kayak picture also!
My fave is him holding his tennis racket on his shoulder. Nice!

(02.25.10)
Ashley :

LOVE these pics! Great work Tate, and I'm sure it helped that you had a good looking guy to shoot. It's hard to pick a fav. They're all beautiful!

(02.25.10)
Arlene:

These pic's are so great, Taylor is a very handsome young man. I know his parents are gonna have a hard time choosing their favorites.
I agree with Mrs TTP, your style is so different very oringal. I know from our experience everyone that has seen Megan's pic's have been owhhhhing and ahhhing over them and they are all asking who did her pictures.
I see Tate becoming very busy in the future working on Sr. pic's
Keep up the excellent work

(02.25.10)
Rob:

I really love how senior portraits are being done today. They're so much more snazzy and fun than the lame "sit-on-this-stool-with-a-steel-rod-up-your-ass" photos of yore. Good job, Tate and best of luck, Taylor!

(02.26.10)
Rob:

BTW, Tate, do you encourage your clients to bring clothes or personal items that have color? It's quite clear that you're able to make those pieces pop out. The green shirt, the moss kayak, and the red tennis rackets almost seem as if they're well-thought-out theatrical props or even fashion accessories!

I did a combo photo session for the Wanko sisters (Mary Clement & Michele Broome) with their daughters. These were Ellie Grace's (Mary) 1 year old & Kate's (Michele) 5 month old portraits. We got some stunning photos - the Wanko genes work pretty good, huh?

These are only a few of my favorite shots!

Melissa contacted me a while back and said she wanted to get her side of the family together to do some portraits with all the "grandkids" together, plus this and that. I have always loved her - such a bubbly personality. She married my cousin, Christian Bourgeois, and they're residing in Florida now. A cool fact - she picked up some American Sign Language because they live in St. Augustine where the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind is!

Groovy family. We did her family, Tony's (Melissa's bro) family, their parents, all the kids, and all the above! Tony has five kids and Melissa has one - they're all an adorable bunch as shown below in this entry!

Enjoy the photos, and leave some comment love for them to read!

We're back from Rio De Janeiro, Brasil! What a marvelous trip it was. I want to post tons of photos but right now I really need to get some work done for clients so I can stay on top of things. I'll play around with more photos tonight after my workday.

Enjoy these snapshots for now at least!
