Welcome Get Shot By Tate!
Since you MUST know about me...... I'll talk about what kind of photographer I am. I'm the kid who hated traditional crap. I hated the concept of doing wedding photography. I wanted to do high fashion and naked people - and that WAS IT. Fast Forward to ten + years later....... I'm doing weddings, naked people (but it's always tasteful..... or at least I think it is) and I do SOME traditional stuff. I like to think my traditional stuff is twisted. Ok, it's not traditional. Call it what you want to call it, but I don't like the WORD - traditional. My wife does. She's twisted traditional. My work is my work. I don't like rules. It's hard for me to play by the rules when I'm doing photography. I think that's what keeps it so fun for me. I tell the parents of my senior shoots that I dislike cap and gown shots (was I supposed to do that?) but I still do them because I know they love those. ;-) I think you get the drift of what kind of photographer I am. I may think I'm way more radical than I am, but let me think I'm just ubercool and not traditional. Okay?

Christine interpreted for a wedding I shot in Palo Alto two years ago, and I guess I made a good impression on her because she and Craig booked me for their wedding in NorCal this coming October! They wanted to get some engagement shots done, and I knew I wouldn't be in their area anytime soon so I let them know the unfortunate news. Next thing I know - they're saying they will fly into town for their shoot! How flattering - flying into town to get shot by me, how cool! They wanted to get them done as soon as they could so they flew in the day Sarah and I flew out for Rio! I met up with them in New Orleans and we shot around the Jackson Square & Pat O'Briens in the most awful rainy, freezing weather. I told C & C that it was so abnormal for Louisiana to have that sort of weather! (Same time as the "expected" snow....) - they both had such great spirits and we had an amazing shoot! We got tons of marvelous shots, and they got to check out New Orleans for their first time around the peak of Mardi Gras!

Check out Christine and Craig! Leave some comment love for them!
