Welcome Get Shot By Tate!
Since you MUST know about me...... I'll talk about what kind of photographer I am. I'm the kid who hated traditional crap. I hated the concept of doing wedding photography. I wanted to do high fashion and naked people - and that WAS IT. Fast Forward to ten + years later....... I'm doing weddings, naked people (but it's always tasteful..... or at least I think it is) and I do SOME traditional stuff. I like to think my traditional stuff is twisted. Ok, it's not traditional. Call it what you want to call it, but I don't like the WORD - traditional. My wife does. She's twisted traditional. My work is my work. I don't like rules. It's hard for me to play by the rules when I'm doing photography. I think that's what keeps it so fun for me. I tell the parents of my senior shoots that I dislike cap and gown shots (was I supposed to do that?) but I still do them because I know they love those. ;-) I think you get the drift of what kind of photographer I am. I may think I'm way more radical than I am, but let me think I'm just ubercool and not traditional. Okay?

I think it's kind of funny that my first two sessions for this month of January had individuals with names that begin with J. Just a tiny observation.

Last fall, my schedule just threw me in for a major spin and my time management was just out of whack so I stopped posting "previews" of my latest sessions to satisfy the clients just a tad bit while they wait for the rest fo their photos. Of course, also for you guys to enjoy and see how my work continues to expand and progress.

So.... here goes - let's see if I can manage to keep up with myself this year!

Here's Jenny's Abby! I did her one year old photos last year and yesterday it was already time to do her two year old photos. Time just flies by too fast!

Here's a preview shot of Jackson from Australia. He came over with his grandmother, Mrs. Deanie (who is close friends with my parenys). I had not seen him in AGES! He has grown into such a handsome man (he's 15) and I definitely think he could do some modeling as he gets a bit older! He looks like Jill!

Tate's Dad, Randy:

Jackson, Jake in Aussie land, is a very good looking young man, especially being just 15. He is 6'2", plays wide receiver, but plans on trying out for quarterback next season. He lives near Melbourne. His dad is Jason Gautreaux from St. Amant. He is a smart young man and interesting to talk with... his accent' is great.
